Ever been alone on Feb. 14th, and everyone around you was paired up? Did your friends make you feel left out? Or have you ever felt bad when you had some one and no one else did? Well this new holiday has been created for everyone. Now everyone can celebrate.
Reason why you should celebrate Vampire Day.
1. It's not just for lovers, but all emotions
of the Heart. (See Examples Below)
2. It's a holiday for romance. -who would
not rather have a romantic evening then a stuffed bear
3. The other V-day is primarily for women. Vampires
are for everyone. It's easier to find something for a Male on Vampire's
day.
4. A single red rose is acceptable for a Vampire's
day gift. Actually it's the common gift, instead of a card.
5. Vampires come from all nationalities and races.
Instead of the one St. Valentine of the Christian Religion.
6. One of the best Holidays is Halloween, think of this holiday as being close to Halloween. Because dressing in black like a vampire is more fun.
The Simularities are already there.
1. The holiday already starts with a V, and can
shortened to V-day.
2. Hearts and the color red are common items
to a vampire.
3. Lace is worn by many a vampire. Velvet
usually worn with the lace.
4. Candle light dinners, and red roses. But
No Sappy Stuff.
Examples of Emotions for Vampire's Day.
1. Hatred is a fun one for Vampire's Day. Why
should we just send cards just to those we love, we need a holiday where
we can send a dead rose to someone we hate.
2. Friendship is grand, because you can hang
out with your friends with out feeling like your alone. See your going
out celebrating your friendship, and not because you don't have a love/lover.
3. If there is Sadness in your soul, sitting
in a grave yard is perfectly allowable.
The History of Vampire's Day.
It was started in 1995 when one night several college students got sick of all the talk about Valentine's day. It seemed that everyone had someone they where with or loved but this group of students. They decided then that Valentine's day was a segratory holiday. You had to have a love/lover to celebrate the holiday, and they/we decided it was unfair. So we created a holiday for everyone.
We wanted a holiday that was fun like Halloween,
but still based off of abit of romance. Now these students have taken Vampires
to be that new holiday symbol. A symbol of romance, and dark elegance,
that can be ever changing. To warn of the danger of love, and celebrate
unlife/life for those of use alone. Women can take the men out just
as easily, and friends are celebrated as the blood that feeds us.
