We were singing Christmas Carols as the various Utena characters. Miki and Nanami in PJs, while Utena and Anthy were dressed for the Holidays. It was a really cute skit, and people thought we had done rather well. We however didn't project enough to be heard in the back of the room, but this was our first attempt at a Cosplay Contest, and was alot of fun. We were the first group to go on stage even.
(Winners of the Pajama Contest!) Utena and Anthy already have their PJs, and saw that Shoujo-con had a PJ contest. We convienced our friends to join us as Nanami and Miki in their PJs as well. The hosts of the contest/breakfast were so surprised to see us as anime characters in their PJs, and we won easily. Waking up early to put on pajams for a cosplay contest was also amusing. We were actually rather tired by the time of the picture. ... As time went on we added Juri to our Cosplay group, and ofcourse the first outfit she had to have was her Pajamas.
This was also the premier of Utena and Anthy in our Christmas Outfits. We are the first people to ever do these two costumes. We are very proud of them. Utena's costume is horridly hot, and Anthy's wings were a pain to deal with in crowded places. You may also notice we have a set 'pose' for this costume. The 'pose' matches the artbook picture. We also entered the Cosplay Contest as a group. Singing Utena Christmas Carols, and having a big PJ sleep over. Nanami with her egg was a highlight.
