05/24/06 - Non-HP Birthday

It's been awhile since an update. I've tried the Cockroach Clusters, and they are not to bad. My birthday party this year was not Harry Potter like, but I've become more involved in HP then ever before. I'm on Staff for the upcoming Lumos Convention (they however wouldn't let me do my panel about HP candy). I have Two Lucius Malfoy Costumes almost finished and a Snape outfit for my boyfriend. I have Dragon Eggs and Cockroach Clusters ready for Lumos in July. Send me an E-mail if you'll be there and I'll save you one of each! 09/12/05 - Cockroach Clusters!

News from Leaky Cauldron, is that they are coming out with a new candy for Halloween and/or the new movie, a Cockroach Cluster, and I'm stalking E-bay waiting for them to appear. There is also a new Version 4 of the Bertie Botts Beans, new flavors: Rotten Eggs, and Bacon!

I tried the Mandrake Dippers at Fanime 2005, and found them disturbing. Your sucking a naked baby after all, but the taste was enjoyable and they are a great 'prop' for costumes. Someone was actually selling an old Mandrake dipper candy on E-bay. I purchased it, so I'll have the review up on this web page soon enough! I also updated the Bertie Botts page, and added pictures for the Gummy Slugs.

I've watched the Third Harry Potter Movie twice now, and had Harry Potter candy at each of them. I've posted some reviews of the new candies. Click Here for info about my 3rd HP Party.

There are new Acid Pops released with the other new candies. I have some to try at the movie. I plan on going in costume, but the same day is the Star Wars Galaxies convention, so I may be a Twi'lek Hufflepuff... I've also added the list of new cards for the US Chocolate frogs. There are new US chocolate frogs, and I'm going to try and get my hands on them!

The candy for the next movie are now out. I have them ordered and will have information about them posted after my movie watching/line party. The new candys are: Jelly Slugs (Different then Gummy Slugs), Ice Mice, Drooble's Best Blowing Gum, and a new version of Fizzing Whizzbizzs. You may also notice I've changed the look/style of the page. I hope you like it.

The next HP movie is coming out really soon. I've stocked up on the special halloween candy they had out, which included Gummy Slugs. So I'll be able to write a review of those in the near future. If you didn't know, they changed the HP costumes. (And I just finished making my old style...sigh.)

Picked up another U.S. Chocolate Frog. This time got Morgana! I also noticed that Morgana turns into a phoenix and back again, maybe there is a tie in to the fifth book?

Received my latest box of candy from the UK. It had Lemon Sherberts, Fizzing Whizzbies, and UK version Every Flavor Chocolate. Added a report about the Every Flavor Chocolate.
